Lotus is a modern, long-legged dressage type with a powerful back and hind quarter, sloping shoulder and baroque neck with good bone.

Trained to Intermediare level, he competed in young horse year dressage competitions with medals leading to a Global Genetic Index for Dressage of 110.92 with high reliability to genetically transmit favourable traits and aptitude for dressage. 

Riding Lotus XIV is like floating on a cloud. He has 3 fluid, elastic paces with a ground-covering walk and canter to die for.  A soft, kind, willing temperament, a real people-magnet.

Imported as a virgin stallion but his ability to pass on height, athleticism, expressive movement, intelligence, kind temperament, abundant hair and the look-at-me factor has been proven here in NZ with his first offspring now approved for breeding themselves.

Purpose bred for dressage, his bloodlines are predominantly Military including the stellar dressage-influencers Leviton by Agente and Albero II. The Guardiola (Nadal IV) blood also adds to his strength, movement and supreme work ethic.
